The day has finally arrived! My possessions are packed and in a storage unit in Indy, my suitcase weighs under 50 pounds, and I'm sitting in the Indianapolis Airport waiting to catch my connecting flight in Dallas! I'm still trying to convince myself that two months of a European vacation start today...
It's going to be weird not having a cell phone. However, I'm obviously bringing my laptop, so I won't be completely disconnected from the modern world. But still. It's going to take some getting used to. The time difference is going to be strange, too. Germany is six hours ahead of Indy, so when my flight gets into Frankfurt at 7am local time, it'll feel like 1am.
I'm so excited to see Nate and Brooke. The last time I saw them was a year ago at their wedding! I'm sure that we're going to have amazing adventures! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and post them here. :)
